Pricing Panel
The Pricing panel is the core of your product configuration, offering two distinct pricing modes to suit different business models.
Price Mode Selection
Single Price Mode Choose this mode when your product has one fixed price for all customers. This is ideal for simple digital products like eBooks, templates, or basic software licenses.
Price Variations Mode Select this mode when you want to offer multiple pricing tiers or licensing options. This is perfect for software with different license types (personal, commercial, enterprise) or products with various feature sets.
Single Price Settings
When using Single Price mode, you’ll configure:
Regular Price Set the standard selling price for your product. This field accepts decimal values and represents the main price customers will see.
Sale Price Optional field to set a discounted price. When filled, this price will be displayed instead of the regular price, with the regular price shown as crossed out. The sale price must be lower than the regular price.
Direct Purchase URL An automatically generated link that takes customers directly to the checkout page for this specific product. Click the field to copy the URL, which you can use in marketing materials or external websites.
Price Variations Settings
Price variations allow you to create multiple pricing tiers for the same product. Each variation includes:
Variation Name A descriptive name for the pricing tier, such as “Single Site License,” “Developer License,” or “Lifetime Access.”
Regular Price and Sale Price Similar to single pricing, but applied to each individual variation.
Selected by Default Check this option to make a variation pre-selected when customers visit your product page.
Downloadable Files Each variation can have its own set of downloadable files, allowing you to provide different content based on the license type purchased.
Direct Purchase URL Each variation gets its own direct purchase link, useful for targeted marketing campaigns.
Downloadable Files Panel
This panel manages all files that customers can download after purchase.
File Upload Click “Add New File” to upload digital products. The system supports various file types including PDFs, ZIP files, images, documents, and media files. Files are automatically organized and secured.
File Management For each uploaded file, you can:
- Edit the display name shown to customers
- View the secure file path (automatically generated)
- Set an item name for better organization
- Manage file versions (DigiCommerce Pro feature)
- Remove files when no longer needed
File Security All uploaded files are stored securely and are only accessible to customers who have purchased the product. File paths are protected and cannot be accessed directly.
Version Management (DigiCommerce Pro) Track different versions of your files with changelog support. This is particularly useful for software, plugins, or any digital product that receives updates over time.
Description Panel
Add detailed product descriptions that help customers understand what they’re purchasing. This field supports longer text content and is displayed on your product pages to provide comprehensive product information.
Gallery Panel
Upload multiple images to showcase your digital product. The gallery creates a visual presentation of your product, which is especially useful for:
- Software screenshots
- Template previews
- eBook covers and sample pages
- Design asset examples
Images can be reordered by dragging and dropping, and individual images can be removed as needed.
Features Panel
Create a structured list of product features and benefits. Each feature includes:
Feature Name A short, descriptive title for the feature.
Feature Description Detailed explanation of what the feature provides or how it benefits the customer.
Features can be reordered by dragging and dropping to prioritize the most important selling points.
Download Instructions Panel
Provide specific instructions that customers will see after purchasing your product. This is valuable for:
- Installation guides
- Setup instructions
- Usage tips
- Support information
- License terms
These instructions appear in the customer’s download area and purchase confirmation emails.
Upgrade Paths Panel (DigiCommerce Pro)
Note: This feature requires DigiCommerce Pro with the License Management addon enabled.
Configure upgrade paths to allow customers to upgrade from their current license to a higher tier. This feature is only available for products with licensing enabled.
Target Product and Variation Select which product and specific variation customers can upgrade to.
Proration Settings Enable proration to calculate upgrade costs based on remaining license time.
Discount Configuration Optionally include automatic discounts for upgrades, either as fixed amounts or percentages.
This system encourages customer retention and increases lifetime value by providing clear upgrade paths.
