reCAPTCHA Tab

The reCAPTCHA Settings tab in DigiCommerce provides integration with Google reCAPTCHA v3 to protect your store’s forms from spam and automated abuse. This security feature helps maintain the integrity of your store’s interactions.

reCAPTCHA v3 Configuration

Set up Google reCAPTCHA protection by configuring two essential keys:

• Site Key: Enter your reCAPTCHA site key
  • Required for client-side integration
  • Identifies your site to the reCAPTCHA service
• Secret Key: Input your reCAPTCHA secret key
  • Used for server-side verification
  • Keeps communication secure between your site and Google’s services

Creating Your reCAPTCHA v3 Keys

1. Access the Google reCAPTCHA Admin Console:
   • Visit https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin
   • Sign in with your Google account
2. Register Your Site:
   • Click the “+” (Create) button
   • Enter a label for your site (e.g., “My DigiCommerce Store“)
   • Select “reCAPTCHA v3” as the reCAPTCHA type
   • Add your domain(s) in the Domains field
   • Accept the Terms of Service
   • Submit the form
3. Obtain Your Keys:
   • After registration, Google will provide two keys:
     • Site Key: Used in your DigiCommerce settings
     • Secret Key: Also required for DigiCommerce settings
   • Copy both keys and keep them secure
4. Implementation:
   • Paste the Site Key into the reCAPTCHA site key field
   • Paste the Secret Key into the reCAPTCHA secret key field
   • Save your settings
